Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014

If you were able to visit the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014 you may have spotted or even eaten some MSC certified sustainable fish. On top of this, a lot of the fish and seafood served at the games was sourced from Scotland itself. This includes MSC certified haddock, saithe, herring, mussels, scallops and crabs.

The support for Scottish, sustainable fish is helping support a strong future for the fishing industry in Scotland. The use of MSC certified Scottish seafood at an event of this size reflects the huge achievements that Scottish fisheries have made to gain their MSC accreditation. Hopefully this will encourage more to do the same in the future.
