Describe Me

Pollock, a white fish has a dark line down its back. They are a similar shape to cod, but don’t have a barbel on their chin. Most pollock are caught at around 75cm long, some have been found over 130cm.

Fish Food

Pollock eat crabs, shrimp and some small fish. Pollock often live near coastlines in cold waters. MSC certified sustainable pollock is fished from Alaska and Russia.

Pollock is a whitefish and has a similar taste to cod, sometimes it can be found in fish fingers or fried in a fish and chip shop.

Pollock often like to live in sheltered rocky areas. Often, lots of pollock can be found around shipwrecks!
